Gaia strives to give you the best viewing experience possible. It does so by adjusting the playback quality of your video stream based on the speed of your internet connection. However, there might be times when the internet connection is slow and/or volatile. That will result in interruptions during the playback experience. To mitigate the issue, you can change the video quality to a lower quality rendition. You will see this option if you hover over the play bar at the bottom of the video. You will see a gear icon, and from there, you can change to a lower quality option for streaming. Once updated, you will notice the lower video quality and it should help you stream with less interruptions. Please note that it takes 10 seconds for this change to take place. Pressing play over and over again or moving the play bar while this is updating will negatively affect the update. This option is available on the following browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Edge.
