Here’s what you need to know at a glance:
You can have up to three profiles per Gaia subscription.
Each profile has its own personalized playlists, watch history, language settings, and recommendations.

Profile users won’t see billing or account details, but the main account holder remains responsible for all account activity.
What Is the Multiple Profiles Feature?
The Multiple Profiles feature gives you the ability to create separate spaces within one Gaia account — up to three total unique profiles per subscription.
Each profile is fully personalized with its own:
Playlists and watch history
Notifications and language preferences
Customized recommendations
This is great for households where everyone has different interests — from yoga and breathwork to metaphysics and documentaries.
⚠️ Note: All profiles sign in using the main account owner’s email and password. While profile users can enjoy their own personalized Gaia experience, they cannot view any billing or payment details tied to the account. However, if a profile user selects and accesses the main account holder’s profile, they will be able to view and modify Gaia account settings, including subscription plan changes. The primary account owner remains responsible for any updates or actions made from any profile.
⚙️ How Does It Work?
Each time you log in to your Gaia account, you’ll see a “Who’s Watching?” screen.
Here, you can select an existing profile or add a new one.
If You Don’t Want Additional Profiles
Simply select “Do not ask me this again.”
From then on, you’ll go straight to your main homepage when logging in.
If You Want to Add Additional Profiles
Each time you log in, Gaia will ask “Who’s Watching?”.
Choose your profile to enjoy a personalized home screen and tailored recommendations.
You can switch profiles anytime by clicking your avatar icon in the top-right corner and selecting a different profile from the dropdown menu.
🧘♀️ How to Add a New Profile on Gaia.com
You can add a new profile in two ways: from the login screen or from within your account.
Option 1: Add from the Login Screen
Log in to your Gaia account.
On the “Who’s Watching?” screen, click Add Profile.
Enter the new user’s name and email address.
Save your changes — and you’re all set!
Option 2: Add from Within Your Account
Log in to Gaia.com.
Click your avatar icon (top right) → Manage Profiles.
Fill out the new user’s details (first name, last name, email) and click Add.
💡 Note: If you see the message “Please use a different email address,” that means the email is already linked to another Gaia account. Try a different one or contact us for help.
📱 How to Add a New Profile in the Gaia App
Creating a new profile in the Gaia app is just as simple:
Open the Gaia app.
Tap your avatar in the top-right corner.
Select Manage Profiles.
Tap the “+” icon to add a new profile.
Enter the new user’s name and email, then tap Add Profile.
🧩 Profile Settings & Onboarding Preferences
Username
Each profile gets a default username automatically based on its email (everything before the “@”).
You can update this anytime within your profile settings.
Email Address
All profiles use the main account’s email and password to log in.
However, each profile can still have its own email listed for personalized communications and updates.
Onboarding Survey
When a new profile is first created, it will be prompted to complete a Welcome to Gaia survey.
This helps tailor the user’s home screen based on their interests — whether it’s yoga, transformation, ancient wisdom, or consciousness expansion.
💡 Tip: The onboarding survey can only be completed once per profile, so it’s best to have the intended user present when setting it up. Alternatively, you can skip or leave the survey for the profile holder to complete later, allowing them to personalize their own Gaia experience.
❌ How to Remove a Profile
Only the primary account holder can delete profiles.
To remove a profile:
Log in to Gaia.com as the main account holder.
Click your avatar icon → Manage Profiles.
Find the profile you want to delete and click Remove.
Confirm by selecting Delete Profile.
⚠️ Important:
The main account profile cannot be deleted.
Once deleted, that email cannot be reused for a new profile later.

If you see this message while adding a profile, it means the email address you entered is already linked to another Gaia account or profile.
